Forum on Sustainability Issues May 8

Germantown United Community Development Corporation, a new organization founded to promote the revitalization of Germantown’s business corridors through sustainable and creative approaches to economic development, will host its second annual community forum on Wednesday, May 8, 6pm, at the Flying Horse Center, 312-316 W. Chelten Avenue.

This year’s forum, entitled “It IS Easy Being Green”, focuses on sustainability and how residents and businesses can have a positive environmental and economic impact on their community. This forum will begin at 6pm with a “trade show” of organizations involved in sustainability and community issues set up with their own tables, followed at 7pm by a panel of speakers headed by Robert Fleming, Associate Professor of Sustainable Design at Philadelphia University.
