East Falls annual flea market set for June 15
McMichael Park will once again host the annual flea market this Saturday, June 15.
The event, which is sponsored by the East Falls Community Council, will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the park, which is located at the corner of Midvale and Henry avenues. All proceeds from this event will go toward East Falls Community Council projects, as well as to community grants.
Over 100 vendors are expected to be on hand this year selling a wide variety of goods. Last year vendors sold everything from handcrafted jewelry to VHS tapes, and everything in between.
Merchants will be setting up temporary shop around the perimeter of McMichael Park, leaving the park’s center open for patrons to mingle with one another, and show off some of their unique finds.
A number of local food vendors will provide also be on hand to provide refreshments.
