FBI takes a fresh look at decade-old cold case

Investigators are taking a fresh look at a cold case in the hopes of finding out what happened to a couple who vanished after a night out in Philadelphia a decade ago.

The FBI and local law enforcement agencies have scheduled a news conference Thursday to put the 2005 disappearance of Richard Petrone Jr. and Danielle Imbo back in the public eye and encourage anyone with information about the case to come forward.

Imbo, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, and Petrone, of Philadelphia, were last seen leaving a city bar on Feb. 19, 2005. Petrone’s pickup truck hasn’t turned up and their bank accounts weren’t touched.

Investigators say they’re going back through previous interviews to make sure they didn’t miss anything.
