Earth Day celebration in Wilmington

The City of Wilmington welcomes all to its Earth Day celebration.

Activities take place today (Thursday April 21st) on Rodney Square from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  Visitors can learn more about everything from gardening to hybrid automobiles, and a variety of tips and products for the home, the workplace and the roadway.

Kids can enjoy crafts and a special program at the Wilmington Public Library.

The event features musical entertainment as well, and is hosted by the city, the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary and the Delaware Department of Transportation.
