Delaware unveils fresh produce-locating app
It’s not exactly easy to find the small produce stands selling fresh produce, but Delaware’s Department of Agriculture is hoping to help residents save gas on their search.
The department has released an iPhone app featuring more than 80 markets throughout the state selling fresh, local produce. Delaware Fresh is available to Apple users looking for locations, hours, contact information and products from farm and produce stands. The app is free, and joins Delaware’s State of Delaware and Delaware State Parks apps.
