Delaware gas price drop may only be temporary
The price at the pumps in Delaware is down about four cents from a week ago, but AAA Mid-Atlantic says it’s not certain if the downward trend will continue.
As of Sunday, gas was retailing for an average of $3.34 a gallon in the First State. Many analysts are projecting that gas prices will average about $3.40 come Thanksgiving, which is just over two weeks away. That would be about 50-cents a gallon higher than last year’s holiday travel period. The recent drop was due to fluctuating crude oil prices.
