The 32nd Annual Bethany Beach Jazz Funeral
With full band and coffin leading the procession of mourners, Bethany Beach marked the end of summer with its annual jazz funeral.
While tourism leaders in the southern Delaware beach communities will be quick to point out that there’s plenty of things to attract visitors to the area during the off-season, Monday’s funeral for summer is evidence that it’s just not the same.
Hundreds turned out on Labor Day to pay their final respects to the summer of 2017.
