Old City Winter Wonderland at TRUST

Friday, December 21, 5-10pm, Saturday, December 22 and Sunday, December 23 Noon-5pm. TRUST, 3rd and Arch. Old City District’s Winter Wonderland continues this weekend with festive treats, arts and crafts, Santa in his Workshop, music, and gift wrapping stations.

Maya 2012: The Final Countdown

Friday, December 21, 9pm. Penn Museum, 3260 South Street. Party like it’s the end of the world with the Young Friends of the Penn Museum. The party, part of the museum’s MAYA 2012 exhibit, will feature acrobats from Cirque-Tacular and DJ Scribble. Buy tickets online for $40 or $50 at the door.

Mummers Museum Soup Day Festival and Golden Ladle Award Contest

Sunday, December 23, 2pm. Front Street to Moyamensing Ave, Washington Ave to Federal Street. Join the Mummers Museum to celebrate the upcoming parade with tours of the museum, a cavalcade of food trucks (including Lil Dan’s, Chewy’s, Vernalicious, The Sunflower Truck Stop, Bonjour Creperie, and Gigi’s & Big R), live music and a preview of what’s to come on New Year’s Day.
