Central Pa. police officer collapses, dies while on duty

    A police officer in a central Pennsylvania college town died after collapsing while on duty.

    State College police say 43-year-old officer Bob Bradley was stricken around 12:30 p.m. Monday.

    He was pronounced dead at Mount Nittany Medical Center about an hour later.

    Chief Thomas King says the 19-year veteran was an outstanding, kind officer who got along with everyone.

    Bradley leaves behind three children and a stepson. His cause of death is still being determined.
