Annual underwater inspection of IR Bridge
Engineers will be examining the piers of the Indian River Inlet Bridge this week as part of an annual survey.
The study done by Collins Engineers will allow DelDOT to determine if there’s been any additional “scouring” along the bridge piers. Similar studies over the past three years have not shown any significant scouring.
