A&P closing 3 South Jersey Super Fresh stores

    Three underperforming South Jersey Super Fresh stores will soon close as owner A&P continues a review of its brand locations.

    PhillyBurbs reports the stores in Evesham, Haddon Township and Plainsboro will close in January.More than 250 union workers will be affected, though it’s unclear how many of them will be able to transfer to other stores.

    A&P filed for bankruptcy protection in December 2010 and soon after announced the closing of dozens of supermarkets in the region.
