8 hurt in Atlantic City jitney crash
Authorities believe rain played a role in a chain-reaction accident that sent a jitney crashing into in an apartment building in Atlantic City, injuring eight people.
Authorities say a minivan was heading along Massachusetts Avenue when it collided with the jitney at an intersection around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Police tell WCAU-TV in Philadelphia the jitney’s driver lost control, striking the building.
Officials say at least seven people on the jitney and a passenger in the minivan were injured. None of the injuries is considered serious.
