Fresh Air has been around for more than 40 years. In its infancy, Terry Gross’s interviews with guests were recorded reel-to-reel and edited by hand. WHYY preserves an archive of many of these tapes stored on-premises today. But, even better, we have invested in converting the archives to digital, so that anyone can listen to them anywhere, anytime.
