Scott Wagner talks about his past and plans as he pursues the GOP nomination to run against incumbent Democrat Tom Wolf for Pennsylvania governor.
Listen 5:58On May 15, Republican voters in Pennsylvania will be picking a nominee to take on Democratic incumbent Tom Wolf in the gubernatorial race.
This is the second in our series of interviews with the three GOP candidates for governor.
Scott Wagner, a conservative businessman from York County, won election to the Senate in 2014. He’s invested $6 million of his own funds into the campaign, which has been characterized by heavy TV advertising and sharp exchanges between Wagner and Pittsburgh businessman Paul Mango.
We interviewed the other candidate, Pittsburgh attorney Laura Ellsworth last month, and will have Mango in our studio soon. You can hear my interview with Scott Wagner by listening to the audio above.
