World leaders and allies met last weekend in France for the G7 Summit to discuss a number challenges facing the international community, including the troubling global economy, trade tensions, security issues with Iran, and climate change. We’ll talk with HEATHER CONLEY, director of the Europe Program at Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, about what was accomplished at the three day meeting and the state of U.S.-Europe relations. Then, we turn to the state of the U.S. economy and discuss Trump’s latest moves in the trade war with China, and concerns of a looming recession. Our guest is MARK ZANDI, chief economist of Moody’s Analytics.
