The United States is the only advanced economy that does not guarantee its workers any paid vacation or holidays. In this hour of Radio Times we look at how the U.S. lags behind other countries in mandating paid vacations and why vacation are important for physical and mental health, family life, productivity, creativity and personal well-being. We’re joined by JOHN SCHMITT from the Center for Economic and Policy Research , author of the report No Vacation Nation and JOHN deGRAAF, national coordinator of Take Back Your Time.
