Katie Florio won the Philadelphia Marathon last Sunday. The victory came a year after giving birth of her first son. Florio, who grew up in Ardmore, now lives in Philadelphia and has managed to squeeze in training between her job at Goldman Sachs and parenting her one-year-old. She sat down with Avi Monday, just 24 hours after completing the 26.2 mile race, to talk about the running, motherhood and clinching her first marathon win.
