Radio Times in Review: NPR’s favorite voices

Listen 00:49:47

Guests: Cokie Roberts, Steve Inskeep, Susan Stamberg

On today’s show, we’re going to bring you some of the familiar voices of public radio who have joined us on WHYY in recent years. First, we’ll hear Marty’s conversation with longtime NPR reporter and commentator, COKIE ROBERTS, where we discussed the women behind the men of the Civil War. We’ll also hear from Morning Edition host STEVE INSKEEP, who was our guest for Radio Times on the Road held at Chestnut Hill College last summer. He joined us to discuss his book, Jacksonland: President Andrew Jackson, Cherokee John Ross and a Great American Land Grab. Lastly, we’ll hear from veteran NPR reporter SUSAN STAMBERG, who joined us in 2014 for a special member event held at WHYY.
