President Obama and constitutional authority

    Listen

    Guests: Will Bunch, Jeffrey Rosen

Last Wednesday, the US House of Representatives voted to sue the President for overstepping his constitutional authority.  The legal standing for the lawsuit relates to the delaying of the implementation of the employer mandate of The Affordable Care Act, but in a USA Today op-ed, Speaker Boehner listed a variety of examples in which, in his view, the President has overextended his constitutional authority. This hour, we get a political and constitutional analysis of the now-approved lawsuit.  WILL BUNCH is a reporter for the Philadelphia Daily News and blogs about politics at Attytood, and JEFFREY ROSEN is President and CEO of the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.
