NJ, PA & DE political roundup: Tom Moran, John Baer & Ginger Gibson

Listen

Hour 1

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has just signed his first budget into law, to the delight of fellow Republicans, with the help of legislative Democrats and to the horror of advocacy groups who have seen their state funding cut. TOM MORAN, editorial page editor of the Newark Star-Ledger, will join us to help us understand the state of state politics in New Jersey. We’ll also be joined in studio by Philadelphia Daily News columnist JOHN BAER, who will discuss Pennsylvania politics in a year that promises an approved budget much earlier than last year’s record-breaking delay. Still, with deep cuts to state services and more funding cuts to come, Baer will help us understand the maneuvers behind the scenes setting Pennsylvania up for a difficult year ahead, and a lively campaign before November’s election. And then at the end of the show, we’ll hear from the News-Journal’s GINGER GIBSON about the Delaware budget finalized in the wee hours of Thursday morning.
