Hour 1
Two Republicans just elected to the U.S. Congress from the Philadelphia suburbs join Marty in the studio today. But neitherMIKE FITZPATRICK, Congressman-elect from Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District, nor Congressman-elect PAT MEEHAN of the 7th is a stranger to public service. Fitzpatrick just won back the House seat that Democrat Patrick Murphy took from him in 2006. And Pat Meehan was U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the former District Attorney of Delaware County. They’ll talk to Marty about their plans for the new Republican-controlled House of Representatives. Then we’ll talk to Washington Post congressional reporter PAUL KANE about the political landscape these new Congressmen are entering.
