Human rights scholar. We talk with SAMANTHA POWER who is best known right now as being the former advisor to the Barack Obama’s campaign who called Hillary Clinton a monster. But before that, she is well known for her writings on human rights and genocide. She joins us to talk about her new book Chasing the Flame: Sergio Vieira de Mello and the Fight to Save the World. Power, is a former journalist for U.S. News and World Report and the Economist and now the executive director of Harvard University’s Carr Center for Human Rights. Her previous book A Problem from Hell: America and the Age of Genocide was awarded a Pulitzer prize and a national book award.
