Mother-daughter writing duo LISA SCOTTOLINE and FRANCESCA SERRITELLA have just published their fifth book together. Have a Nice Guilt Trip is a compilation of essays about everyday life – in the suburbs and the city. Scottoline’s musings are about mid-life and cover topics like rearranging furniture, puppies, aging parents, dieting and mom guilt. Twenty-something Manhattanite Francesca writes about dating, online shopping, cabbies, food politics and twerking. At the heart of all their stories is their connection to family including their mother and grandmother who readers know as “Mother Mary.” Lisa and Francesca join guest host Mary Cummings-Jordan in the studio today to talk about their lives and each other.
