Firefly: Bigger and Better
Delaware is now a music destination. That’s what people who were at the third annual Firefly festival told us last weekend. Now that this year’s festival is in the books, organizers are already looking ahead to next years event. Early bird tickets are already on sale for next year and planners are looking for ways to make the program even bigger. This week’s First Look examines how this event has become so big, so quickly and what that means to the First State.
Rebuilding I-495
One of the more bizarre stories to happen in Delaware over at least the last several years is the tilting and closing on the I-495 bridge over the Christiana River in Wilmington. This story has a lot of moving parts to it, and we thought we could revisit some of the issues connected with this story through the work of News Journal reporters Melissa Nann Burke and Jeff Montgomery.
Small Business Wish
This time last year, small businesses saw major relief when it came to state regulations, but the fight continues as many are still seeking relief at the federal level. Billion Mile Journey
Another milestone in Sussex County is the 50th anniversary of the Cape May Lewes Ferry. This weekend there are events in Cape May on Saturday, and Lewes on Sunday.
