With foreclosures again soaring across the United States, we’ll talk about the housing crisis and efforts to abate it. Among them is The Emergency Homeowners’ Relief Fund, set take effect by October and authored by U.S. Rep. CHAKA FATTAH, (D-Philadelphia), whose long history with emergency homeowner assistance dates back to helping launch a similar program in Pennsylvania in 1983. We’ll also be joined by JOHN DODDS, Director of the Philadelphia Unemployment Project, an advocate for mortgage relief on the city, state and federal levels. They’ll join Marty to talk about the housing crisis, and what government can and can not do to keep people in their homes.
