Congress: The Lame Duck Session and What’s Ahead
Listen

Hour 1
There were low expectations for the lame duck session in Congress, but surprisingly some major pieces of legislation have passed, namely the tax cut bill and the repeal of ‘don’t ask, don’t tell.’ And now there’s even optimism that the START Treaty may be ratified in the coming days. This hour, we’ll look at the accomplishments of the 111th Congress and the role Obama played. Also, we’ll find out what’s ahead for the 112th when they convene in January – gridlock or compromise? Marty talks with MAJOR GARRETT, the Congress Correspondent for National Journal, and DAVID MARK, Senior Editor at POLITICO.
