“A Place at the Table” is a new documentary about the crisis of hunger in America today that was an Official Selection of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. It features 2009 footage of Marty interviewing Dr. MARIANA CHILTON of Drexel’s Center for Hunger-Free Communities and Witnesses to Hunger BARBIE IZQUIERDO and Crystal Sears. Filmmakers LORI SILVERBUSH and KRISTI JACOBSON return to WHYY’s Studio 2, this time to talk about their film and its examination of the widespread hunger that should shame the wealthiest nation in the world, and Dr. Chilton and Barbie Izquierdo return to update us on their experience with working against hunger.
