Zombies invade Asbury Park, set new world record
Over 9,000 zombies of all ages, shapes, and sizes invaded Asbury Park Saturday for the 6th annual Zombie Walk.
And not only did they do it in style, but they set a new Guinness World Record for largest gathering of zombies.
9,592 to be exact, crushing the previous record of 8,027 set by the Zombie Pub Crawl in Minneapolis, Minnesota, last October.
Blur Revision Media Design’s Chris Spiegel said that the “horde of undead [stretched] from Convention Hall all the way to the Asbury Casino.”
The Star-Ledger has the story.
