Woman killed in Wissinoming hit-and-run

Update – Police have arrested and charged a 27-year-old suspect. Angel Roque is charged with vehicular homicide, among other charges, after he was found out when he tried to report his truck stolen to allegedly cover up his crime. Roque lives in Wissinoming, where the truck was also found.

Police are looking for the driver who struck a woman this morning in Wissinoming, leaving her dead.

The 46-year-old was hit at Torresdale Avenue and Fraley Street and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver fled in a blue pick-up truck with a modified front-end grille and what’s believed to be front-end damage. The truck also had silver flames or wings on the sides and tinted windows.
