Willingboro company says Philly wrongly fined it for littering

People with enemies in Philadelphia, beware. If things go the way a small retail store in Jersey says they have, you foes can seek revenge by littering in your name.

Sports Paradise of Willingboro says it received a $150 littering fine from the City of Philadelphia because the store’s name was on a piece of trash found tumbling around Sixth and Fitzwater streets last month.

NewsWorks partner Philly Weekly cites a Rip-off Report post from the store, which is calling on Mayor Michael Nutter to take back the fine without forcing the owner to appear in court.
