Wi-Fi may soon be available on NJ Transit

NJ Transit could soon be offering free Wi-Fi both on trains and at rail stations.

NorthJersey.com reports that the agency’s board will vote on the agreement this Wednesday and that the Wi-Fi, provided by Cablevision, would allow passengers to surf the web and check email, among other things.

Nancy Snyder, NJ Transit spokesperson, said that this decision was prompted by customer demand.
