Nine guns, thousands of dollars in cash and more than four pounds of marijuana were seized from a New Castle home Wednesday.

New Castle County’s Drug Control Squad first started monitoring a home on Liborio Lane in the Buena Vista neighborhood near New Castle last month. Their investigation into drug sales being made at the home led to approval of a search warrant for the residence.

That warrant was executed Wednesday. Inside the home, investigators seized more than $5,000 in cash, nine guns, including several rifles, and four pounds of marijuana.

They also found 22-year-old Donovan Hylton inside the home. He’s now facing charges that include: drug dealing, drug manufacturing, and possession of a firearm by a person prohibited. Hylton is being held at Wilmington’s Young Correctional Institution on $130,000 cash bail.
