The Christmas songs you won’t hear on B-101

Arts reporter and reluctant Christmas song expert Peter Crimmins takes you on an audio stroll through some of his favorite tunes. What are some of your seasonal must-listens?

Before Peter Crimmins was the Arts and Culture reporter for WHYY, he worked for a production company in San Francisco that made syndicated radio content. The company did a lot of Christmas programming, and because of the long production schedules, Crimmins had to start listening to Christmas songs in September. Frosty the Snowman, by The Ronettes, 1963

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, by Judy Garland, 1944
