    As the hot weather in the city finally breaks towards crisp fall and the kids are settling in back to school have you started to think about more family bike — whether for transport or leisure?

     

    Join Kidical Mass Philadelphia’s  at the ABCs of Family Biking on Sept. 21. Kidical Mass Philadelphia prides itself on helping the city’s tiniest cyclists take back the streets with monthly family-friendly slow-paced rides.

    On Sunday, they will be parking their bikes for an afternoon of test rides and fun.

    Three city bike shops, Fairmount Bicycles, Firth & Wilson Transport Cycles and Trophy Bikes will be on hand to show you the latest in family biking. Options will include balance bikes, kid bike seats, cargo bikes and more. Parents who already ride with their children will bring their own bicycles to display and answer any questions you may have.

    In addition Philly Pedals, The Hub of Cycling in Philadelphia will be talking about the latest bike rides and events in the city.

    In addition to checking out bikes and learn more about cycling in Philadelphia, families can enter for a chance for a free raffle of a Nutcase Helmet or R.E.Load Bag.

    Above all else you will get a chance to meet with a fantastic community of parents who can give you first hand advice on what works out on our streets.
