Teacher get grants for energy projects

Delmarva Power will announce grant money for teachers to purchase materials and create lessons and projects on energy-related material.

 

The money will go to 16 schools in Delaware and Maryland and are designed to support projects that are not typically supported by school funding.  The Delaware schools include Howard T. Ennis in Georgetown, North Laurel Elementary, McIlvaine Early Childhood in Magnolia, Smyrna High School, Sunnyside Elementary and Sussex Academy of Arts and Sciences in Georgetown.
