Tea, roses and love drew moms and their families to Wyck on Mother’s Day [gallery]
On Mother’s Day afternoon, the Wyck Historic House, Garden and Farm opened its Germantown Avenue doors, lawns and gardens to children and families who wanted to give their mom “a truly memorable treat” at the site’s annual Mother & Child Tea event.
In addition to an old-fashioned tea party on Sunday, attendees toured the site — with special attention focused on the rose garden — while children participated in storytime, blowing bubbles and other activities led by Wyck’s educator.
