Special election still set for Thursday

New Castle County officials are keeping one eye on the weather with the hopes the snows predicted for Tuesday into Wednesday won’t impact the special election set for Thursday.

New Castle County voters will decide who will replace Paul Clark as New Castle County President.  Clark was named County Executive after Chris Coons resigned to become U.S. Senator for Delaware.

On the ballot are Democrat Tim Sheldon, Republican Tom Kovach, Libertarian James Christina and Jeffrey Brown of the Blue Enigma Party.  Polls are open from 7am to 8pm.
