Rubin steps down from Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust

There’s a new CEO at Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust.

Ron Rubin has been CEO at PREIT since 1997, known in more recent years for buying up many of the area’s malls. The 80-year-old has decided to step down.
Stepping in is South Philly native Joseph Coradino, whose PREIT claims to fame include the revitalization of the Cherry Hill Mall, an upcoming improvement project at the Gallery and 30 years with the company.

Rubin will stay on as executive chairman.
