Preserving history

For 300 years, Kerlin Farm has sat unnoticed, tucked into the woods of Cheltenham off Ashbourne Road. While residents have admired the property from afar for years, one has helped saved the house from demise.

An interested buyer with dreams of restoring the property has been able to out on hold demolition plans approved by the township, PlanPhilly reports.

The 17th century property is not only one of the oldest in Cheltenham Township, it may also be one of the oldest in the state.
