Police searching for robbery suspects in Barnegat

UPDATE: Both robbery suspects are now in custody, according to the Barnegat Police Department.
Police are searching for robbery suspects this afternoon in Barnegat.
The suspects, described as black males, are at large in a wooded area near Ridgeway Street, according to an alert from the Barnegat Police Department.
“Stay inside [and] lock windows and doors,” the alert advises, adding that the immediate area includes Ridgeway Street, Water Street, and Bayshore Drive.
The New Jersey State Police, Ocean County Sheriff’s Department, and the Stafford Township Police Department are assisting.
Police have not provided details about the robbery.
Anyone who sees suspicious activity is asked to call 911.
