It was a busy holiday weekend in South Philly, what with New Year’s Eve, the Mummers Parade and the Winter Classic. Two of those events have police searching for suspects in fights.
We already told you about the fight that broke out on Two Street after the Mummers Parade, but police are now looking for suspects in an assault on New York Rangers fans after Monday’s Winter Classic hockey game.
In the surveillance video, three males in Flyers jerseys can be seen beating up on two men in Rangers jerseys outside Geno’s steaks. Because this city definitely needs another negative sports fan story.
The footage is grainy and the suspects are described as three men in Flyers jerseys.
