Police investigating sex assault in Philly garage

A woman is hospitalized with extensive injuries after police say she was sexually assaulted in a parking garage at the Community College of Philadelphia.

Police say the 33-year-old was attacked around 11 a.m. Thursday at the garage on 17th and Callowhill streets.

She’s listed in stable condition at Hahnemann University Hospital.

No arrests have been made.

A college spokeswoman did not immediately return messages.

The college’s website says it’s closed for New Year’s Day and will reopen Friday, with spring classes starting Jan. 12.
