Fairmount Park’s Forbidden Drive is a community meeting grounds of sorts for runners, bikers, horseback riders, and some locals who swim at their own risk in the Wissahickon Creek.

Philadelphia’s Streets Department has closed a portion of the trail underneath the Walnut Lane Bridge until further notice as a result of crumbling concrete falling from the bridge.
