Friday, November 30, 5-8pm and Saturday, December 1 Noon-8pm. The Sedgwick Theater, 7137 Germantown Avenue. Shop handmade knits, jewelry, glassware, and ceramics made by local crafters at the Sedgwick this weekend.
NoLibs Holiday Shopping Spree
Saturday, December 1, 11am-8pm and Sunday, December 2, 11am-6pm. Northern Liberties. Looking for a way to shop locally and support independent retailers this season? Thirteen shops on and around North 2nd Street are participating in a progressive sale, where the more stores you shop in the bigger the discounts become (up to 25%). Peace Around the World
Sunday, December 2, 1-4pm. Penn Museum, 3260 South Street. Celebrate the the holiday season with a global peace celebration at the Penn Museum with a “Passport to Cultures” – participate in a Middle Eastern drumming workshop, take in a Indian dance performance, learn characters in Chinese and Japanese calligraphy, place a wish on a Wishing Tree in a distinctly Hong Kong New Year tradition, and enjoy the galleries.
