Non-permit holders could soon get better parking at NJ Transit stations
A Legislature-approved bill that would grant better parking access to non-permit drivers at NJ Transit stations is now headed to Gov. Chris Christie’s desk.
The Senate and Assembly have both approved the measure that would let non-permit commuters use the reserved spots during off-peak hours, the Associated Press reports. Specifically, from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends.
So if it was parking trouble that deterred you from taking mass transit, cross your fingers that Christie puts pen to paper.
