New park for the disabled to be built in Cherry Hill, N.J.

Officials in Camden County, New Jersey have announced plans for a new athletic field designed specially for children and adults with disabilities.

According to the South Jersey Times, the 13,000-square-foot rubber playing field is set to be located in Cherry Hill’s Challenge Grove Park, the current home of Jake’s Place Playground for children with physical limitations.

It will serve the county’s 12,000 disabled children and adults and serve as a place for the veteran’s community to interact with each other and their families.
