Man accuses former Our Lady of Calvary priest of abuse

A Delaware man who grew up in the Northeast has accused his former priest at Our Lady of Calvary church of abusing him when he was a student there.

Phillip Gaughan came forward Monday to say the now-deceased Father John Gillespie molested him between 1994 and 1997, and his actions were covered up by the Archdiocese. Cardinals Anthony Bevilacqua and Justin Rigali are named in the suit, as is Monsignor William Lynn, who’s also charged in helping to cover up the actions of Bernard Shero, Charles Engelhardt, Edward Avery and James Brennan.
