Looking for an Election Night watch party in Philly?
Watching the results? Why do it alone when you can commiserate/celebrate with the rest of the city. And let’s be honest. After this seemingly endless election season, we journalists aren’t the only ones who are in need a cocktail.
Election results should begin coming in around 8 p.m., leaving a good few hours to head to one of these few places of note.
1. Philly 3.0 is hosting a 2016 Election Returns Watch Party at the brand-new City Diner (former home of Juniper Commons).
2. The BBC will be doing Election Night Coverage in America live from McGillin’s, Philadelphia’s oldest continually operating tavern. McGillin’s has gone all out with politically themed decor, prizes, giveaways, and red and blue themed cocktails.
3. The comfort of your own couch. We know. It’s been a long, long election season. You may even fall asleep before the winner is declared. Enjoy. And check back in with us tomorrow for all the election results you so happily missed.
Feel free to check out Philly.com and Philly Mag for a few more watch party suggestions.
