Koch brothers group whacks Obama with big ad buy in Pennsylvania
Not that anybody’s coordinating or anything, but another Republican group is coming to Pennsylvania with a big political ad buy to whack President Obama.
Americans for Prosperity, the group backed by the conservative Koch brothers, has bought $1.5 million worth of TV time in Pennsylvania.
The ad above is one AFP is running, featuring former Obama voters sharing their disappointment with the president.
“I think he’s a great person,” one woman says in the ad. “I don’t feel he’s the right leader for our country, though.”

Americans for Prosperity is the fourth Republican group in the last five days to start advertising in the keystone state, which had essentially been written off by national GOP leaders. The Obama campaign has come back to Pennsylvania with TV ads, just to make sure our neglected voters get both sides of the debate.
A new Franklin & Marshall College poll shows Mitt Romney within four points of Obama. Obama campaign manager Jim Messina said Monday the Republicans are essentially pretending to make a play for Pennsylvania in order to project a sense of national momentum.
