Knife-wielding suspect robs Rite Aid in Mt. Airy for a second time

Police are seeking a suspect in a second robbery of a Mt. Airy Rite Aid. 

The first occured on Nov. 4. The suspect stole $583 from the cash register.

The second robbery took place on Nov. 13 at 8:25 p.m. when a suspect who police believe to be the same man shown in footage from the Nov. 4 robbery, entered the store and pointed a knife at the 18-year-old employee behind the counter. 

The employee opened the cash register and the suspect took $386 before he fled on foot. He was last seen going south on Stenton Avenue.

The suspect is described as a 5’10” black male with light complextion and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored Nike hoodie, black sneakers with blue tips and red heels, faded blue jeans, dark-colored gloves, a dark-colored mask covering his face and a black backpack.
